You choose the Workshop and organize students into groups. StarCoach gives the larger group one-to-one coaching while you spend quality time with a smaller group—bringing the judgment and human connection only a teacher can.

Add students
Add students by first name and last initial, or import a roster. No student email is required.

Choose a Workshop
Browse and test free Coaching Workshops, then assign one to a class, group, or individual student.

Share the class code
Students sign in with the class code and their PIN, then begin their Workshop in a browser.
The coaching conversation

StarCoach encourages students to draw a model, label quantities, test a strategy, and revise their work. Making ideas visible helps students express their thinking, recognize relationships, and analyze a problem before reaching for an answer.
StarCoach follows the scratchpad alongside the conversation and responds with one focused question or hint. The student makes the next move and develops strategies they can use independently.
